On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, our consortium officially launched the Erasmus+ KA210-SCH
project Future Classrooms: AI-Driven Innovation in Education with an energizing kick-off
meeting. Educators, administrators, and technologists from Greece, Italy, Turkey, and Malta
came together—virtually and in person—to chart our course toward embedding Artificial
Intelligence into secondary classrooms across Europe.

In this first meeting we made clear our shared ambition: equip secondary-level teachers and
school leaders with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to integrate AI into teaching and
administration. Over the next 18 months, we will:
✔ Enhance Digital Readiness & Competence in AI through a self-paced, 3-hour online course
and hands-on workshops.
✔ Upskill Educators, Advisors & Leaders with practical strategies for AI-driven lesson design,
assessment automation, and data-driven decision-making.
✔ Foster STEM Interest & Excellence by showcasing real-world AI applications that engage and
inspire students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

During the meeting teams presented on their institutional strengths and prior work in AI,
digital education, and Erasmus+ projects. We reviewed the 18-month timeline and the roles & responsibilities and we agreed about communication protocols
