Isle of Kin and the Eye of Hinekora Explained
Isle of Kin
The Isle of Kin contains one of Act 4’s more awkward boss fights: Krutog, Lord of Path of Exile 2 Currency Kin. The arena is tight, and Krutog’s massive size makes movement difficult, especially for melee builds.
Defeating Krutog rewards you with a weapon piece required by the Hooded One, making this island mandatory for story progression.
Eye of Hinekora (Optional but Powerful)
The Eye of Hinekora quest sends you back to Shrike Island and rewards multiple permanent character upgrades:
+2 Passive Skill Points
+5 Dexterity or +5% Lightning Resistance
+5 Strength or +5% Fire Resistance
+5 Intelligence or +5% Cold Resistance
+5% Increased Maximum Mana
These bonuses significantly improve survivability heading into buy POE 2 Currency harder Act 4 zones and the Interludes, making Eye of Hinekora one of the most valuable optional quests in the campaign.
